Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Welcome to Uganda! Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your guide will transfer you to your hotel. Rest up and enjoy the breeze from Lake Victoria.

Day 2: Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park (The Zebra Plains)

Transit toward Lake Mburo, stopping at the Equator. Explore the Zebra Plains with a game drive—look for zebras, giraffes, and impalas.

Day 3: Lake Mburo to Bwindi/Mgahinga (Into the Mist)

Scenic drive through the "Little Switzerland of Africa" with photo stops along the way.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking

The big event: Gorilla Trekking or Golden Monkey Tracking. Spend an hour with these gentle giants in their natural habitat.

Day 5: Bwindi/Mgahinga to Lake Bunyonyi

Transit from the misty mountains to Lake Bunyonyi. Relax and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Day 6: Lake Bunyonyi Activities

Enjoy canoeing in a traditional dugout, island hopping, or a community walk. This is your “recharge” phase.

Day 7: Lake Bunyonyi to Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP)

Scenic transit via the Swiss Alps, followed by an evening game drive in the Rift Savannah plains.

Day 8: QENP Sunrise Game Drive & Transit

Start with a sunrise game drive, then transit through the park with an evening visit to the Bigodi Wetlands for bird watching and community experiences.

Day 9: QENP to Kibale National Park

Continue transit with more wildlife spotting, arriving in Kibale NP. Explore the surrounding community or forest for bird watching.

Day 10: Kibale NP to Murchison Falls National Park

A longer scenic drive north to Uganda’s largest park. Arrival and relaxation at your lodge.

Day 11: Murchison Falls: Game Drive & Nile Cruise

Morning game drive (look for giraffes, lions, and elephants) and afternoon boat cruise to the base of the falls.

Day 12: Murchison Falls: Top of the Falls & Game Drive

Visit the "Top of the Falls" to feel the ground shake, followed by an additional game drive to the northern delta.

Day 13: Murchison Falls to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Entebbe

Drive back south toward Entebbe, stopping at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to see rhinos on foot. Continue to Entebbe for an overnight stay.

Depending on your flight time, explore the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or local craft markets before your airport transfer.
