Itinerary

Day 1: The Road to the Whispering Lake

• Morning Kick-off: We depart from Kampala/Entebbe, heading west. Enjoy a mandatory (and photo-worthy!) stop at the Equator Crossing for the famous water experiment and some quick souvenir shopping.
• Park Entry & Lunch: Arrive at the park gates and settle into your lodge for a fresh, local lunch overlooking the park.
• Afternoon Boat Voyage: Head out onto Lake Mburo. This is prime time for spotting massive pods of hippos, prehistoric-looking crocodiles, and the rare African Finfoot.
• Sunset Game Drive: As the heat breaks, we hit the trails. This is the best time to see the "grazers" we’re named after—zebras and impalas—congregating as the sun dips below the horizon.

Day 2: Savannah Sunrise & The Long-Horns

• Dawn Game Drive: We go deep into the park's tracks. Keep your eyes peeled for Topi, Eland (Africa’s largest antelope), and the giraffes that call this park home.
• The Ankole Experience: Visit the nearby community to see the iconic Ankole long-horned cattle. It’s a cultural touchstone of this region and a sight you won't forget.
• The Return Journey: After a hearty lunch, we begin our scenic drive back, arriving in the city by early evening with a camera full of memories.
