Itinerary

Day 1: Rhino Tracking & Journey to Northern Uganda

Entebbe/Kampala → Gulu via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Begin your journey north through Uganda’s changing landscapes. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walking safari, where you will track endangered Southern White Rhinos on foot and observe them at close range. Continue onward to Gulu, the cultural hub of Northern Uganda, arriving in the evening for relaxation.

Day 2: Into the Wild Frontier of Kidepo

Gulu → Kidepo Valley National Park
Travel further north into the rugged and remote wilderness of Kidepo Valley National Park. The journey offers dramatic scenery and a sense of true adventure as you approach one of Africa’s most untouched parks.

Day 3: Big Game Safaris in Narus Valley

Day 4: Culture & Wilderness Exploration

Day 5: Journey to Murchison Falls – The Nile’s Power

Depart Kidepo and drive south toward Murchison Falls National Park, passing through northern Uganda’s vast landscapes. Arrive and settle into your lodge near the mighty Nile.

Day 6: The Mighty Nile & Savannah Wildlife

Explore Murchison Falls National Park with a game drive in the northern delta, searching for giraffes, elephants, lions, and leopards. Later, take a boat cruise to the base of the falls, where the Nile dramatically forces its way through a narrow 7-meter gorge—one of the most powerful natural spectacles in the world.

Day 7: Into the Primate Capital – Kibale Forest

Travel south to the lush rainforests of Kibale, home to 13 primate species. Arrive in time for an optional crater lake walk or a visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for birding and cultural interaction.

Day 8: Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth

Begin the day with chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest, tracking these lively primates in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, continue your journey south with the Rwenzori Mountains as a scenic backdrop, arriving at Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 9: Kazinga Channel Wildlife & Journey to the Gorilla Highlands

Start with a sunrise game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, followed by a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where hippos, crocodiles, and elephants gather along the water’s edge. Later, drive through the stunning “Switzerland of Africa” toward Bwindi or Mgahinga.

Day 10: The Ultimate Gorilla Encounter

Enter the ancient rainforest for the highlight of your safari—mountain gorilla trekking. After a briefing, hike through dense जंगल terrain to find a gorilla family and spend a magical hour observing them up close. Return for a well-deserved evening of rest and celebration.

Day 11: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi – A Place of Tranquility

Day 14: Walking Safari & Lake Experience
